This huge creeper is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 3,439 feet (1,048.2 meters) and growing as high as 601 feet (183.2 meters).

It takes 11 years for the lime green and caramel stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 4.7 feet (1.4 meters) and are flat and wavy.

The broad, flat, smooth leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) in length. They are either turquoise or orange, with intense green dots, and have smooth edges.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
