Crimson Grass

This giant, pink-red grass grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. The thin stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, cream puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of tiny grains.
