Sky Blue Sky

This average-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 26 feet (7.9 meters) and growing as high as 578 feet (176.2 meters).

It takes 2 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The broad, flat, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 8 inches (20 cm) in length. They are a shade of lime green that gradient shifts to sky blue at the top, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the bine produces dozens of tiny white flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces a handful of small seed pods.
