Lilac Grass

This big, yellow-green grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The wide stalks grow in large clumps that are flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, lilac puff.

During the mid-autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.
