Aquamarinevine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 43 feet (13.1 meters)0. It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 2 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The wispy, leathery leaves reach up to 11 inches (28 cm) in length. They are either aquamarine, or slate with magenta patches, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the bine produces bunches of small amber flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of small seed pods.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
