Emerald Succulent
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This small cactus grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The narrow stem is emerald, and is dotted with small grey spines.
It is quick growing, taking 10 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with cream petals and a subtle blue central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 49 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like cinnamon.
The cactus's skin is thick, the turquoise flesh is leathery, and the lime sap is thin.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
