Red Petal Bloom

This big flower grows up to 2.3 feet (69 cm) tall. Its green stems grow in bunches of 7 and are very thin and straight, and the huge, red leaves are light gray-green on the underside and are very thin with smooth edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Two tiny flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 53 cm (20.9 inches) wide, with petals that are either red or gold, with a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. They fall easily.

It has a weak scent that smells like burning wood, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to butterflies.
