Magenta
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This big leaf succulent grows up to 77 feet (23.5 meters) tall. The spear shaped stem is brown, and is covered in handfuls of rigid red spines. The pebble-like leaves are either dull green, or magenta with intense blue patches. Small bunches of them grow on stumpy, lime green branches that are short, thin and wispy. The leaves are resistant, and easily come away when pulled.
It is slow growing, taking 10 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with yellow petals and a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing after 7 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 9 petals in raised layers. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like lemon.
The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the blue flesh is smooth, and the silver sap is thin.
