Aquamarine Succulent
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This large leaf succulent grows up to 77 feet (23.5 meters) tall. The thick stem is gray-green, and is covered in dozens of flexible subtle green spines. The smooth-edged, needle-like leaves are aquamarine at the bottom and white with dull green lines at the top. Small amounts of them grow from the base in alternating layers of 2, then 4, then 6, and so on. The leaves are resilient, but are very difficult to pull away.
It is quick growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with yellow petals and a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 24 curved petals. It has an intense scent that smells like mint.
The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the pink flesh is leathery, and the cyan sap is thin.
