Purple Rose Succulent
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This small leaf succulent grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is gray, and is covered in sharp spines. The tattered-edged, fan-like leaves are either white or pale purple, with purple patches. Handfuls of them grow from the base like rose petals. The leaves are sturdy, but take some effort to detach.
It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with yellow petals and a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing after 7 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. It has an intense scent that smells like glue.
The leaf succulent's skin is tough, the blue flesh is rough, and the light brown sap is thin.
It is suitable for making strong rope
All parts of the caudiciform are edible.
The sap causes itchiness of the skin
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
