Graytail Grass

This modest-sized, gray-green and green grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are flexible and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, dull green tail.

During the early summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
