Lime Grass

This enormous, lime green grass grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. The pleated stalks grow in thick clumps that are flimsy and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, blue tuft.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.
