Silvervine
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This big tree grows up to 86 meters (282.2 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 108 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has a slender, straight trunk covered in very thick, rough, brown and grey bark, and inside, the very dense wood is silver.
The branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with copious amounts of covered in fine hairs, tiny, perforated leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are found in silver, dark blue and brown varieties.
In late summer it forms small, silver, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with patches of undergrowth between them.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
