Hazelgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)This short, dark brown or hazel grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, olive spikelet.
During the late summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
