Peach Tree

Fruit Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small fruit tree grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and lives for up to 15 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 30 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, slanted trunk covered in delicate, smooth, black bark, and inside, the soft wood is brown.

The abundance of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with sparse amounts of large, sickle shaped leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are dark brown and peach.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of medium-sized, orange blossoms with broad, flat petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like citrus.

In early summer it produces , finger-like fruit. The fuzzy gentle green skin is thin and inedible, and the very soft slate flesh is sweet and very dry. The grey seeds are large and are scattered throughout the fruit.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
