Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 15 feet (4.6 meters) and growing as high as 43 feet (13.1 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 2 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and gnarled.

The very thick, sticky leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are solid white with muted orange edges, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces thousands of average brown flowers.
