Speckled

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This large tree grows up to 64 meters (210.0 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 523 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, straight trunk covered in thick, waxy, white with black speckled bark, and inside, the light wood is gray.

The branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with handfuls of rough, huge, long, tapering leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are either peach, or brown with muted red splotches.

In early spring, it produces lots of tiny, muted orange blossoms with 4 V-shaped shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a mildly strong scent that smells like mint.

In late summer it forms giant, orange seed pods.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
