Copperleaf

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This large leaf succulent grows up to 106 feet (32.3 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is copper, and is covered in hundreds of fine, light brown, hair-like spines. The slender leaves are generally cream. Very large amounts of them grow on slender, burgundy branches that trail down towards the ground. The leaves are strong, but take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 6 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with alternating petals of grey and light grey, with a lime central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is made up of 19 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has a weak scent that smells like cherry.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the aquamarine flesh is smooth, and the turquoise sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
