Crimson Grass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small, red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in thick clumps that are flexible and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, gold puff.
During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.
It is suitable for making paper
The seeds are toxic to people but not to certain animals.
