Silvergrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in thick clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, silver tuft.
During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.
It is suitable for making paper
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
