Ivygrass

Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small, lime green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are delicate.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, white tuft.

During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few giant grains.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
