Pink-Red Stem Cactus
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This small cactus grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 2 wide stems. Each stem is pink-red, and is dotted with small light brown spines.
It is very fast growing, taking 10 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are ashy yellow on the underside and white on the top grow at the top, reappearing once every 2 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 petals. It has a strong scent that smells like cheap aftershave.
The cactus's skin is delicate, the green flesh is smooth, and the crimson sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
