Amberbell

Flower type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. Its orange stem is very thick, and the giant, moss green leaves are dark grey on the underside and are thick with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two tiny flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with amber petals and a yellow center. The flower head is made up of 52 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight heart. They detach easily.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like fermented fruit, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a variety of insects.

It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
