Silvergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This modest-sized, gray-green grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in large clumps that are durable and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, peach tuft.
During the mid-summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.
It can survive a very long time without water.
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
