Indigo Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 45 feet (13.7 meters) and growing as high as 104 feet (31.7 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 2 years for the emerald stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and gnarled.

The finger-like, sticky leaves reach up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) in length. They are peach and amber, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thick bunches of large indigo flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of small seed pods.
