Lilac Bowlvine

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its green stems grow in bunches of 3 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the tiny, pink-red leaves are dark orange on the underside and are very thin with ripped edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Hundreds of giant flowers grow in bunches along the stem. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with petals that are either lilac or white, with a yellow center. The flower head is shaped like a bowl with 11 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They detach easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like bleach, and it has a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird and is ignored by most insect species.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
