Coppervine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 48 feet (14.6 meters) and growing as high as 126 feet (38.4 meters).
It takes 9 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and gnarled.
The wispy, soft leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are orange and turquoise, and have irregular edges.
During late spring, the bine produces thousands of tiny white flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces a few tiny seed pods.
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
