Caramel
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 13 feet (4.0 meters) tall. The pleated stem is moss green, and is covered in brittle hazel spines. The stocky leaves are found in caramel and green varieties. Small bunches of them grow on very thick, brown branches that are tall, rigid and upright. The leaves are robust, but are very difficult to pull away.
It is steady-growing, taking 6 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either pink or turquoise, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 curved petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like coconut.
The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the sky blue flesh is soft, and the slate sap is thin.
