Dreamvine

This enormous vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,387 feet (727.6 meters) and growing as high as 482 feet (146.9 meters).

It takes 5 years for the white stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2.8 feet (84 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The teardrop-shaped, smooth leaves reach up to 9 inches (23 cm) in length. They are beige on the sides and black at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many clusters of large subtle yellow flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of small seed pods.
