Goldenleaf

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 23 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many branched, straight stems covered in ridged, gray bark, and the wood inside is white.

The branches trail down towards the ground that and are covered with small bunches of giant, circular, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are either gold, or dark brown with copper patches, robust and sticky.

In early summer it produces many balls of tiny, peach flowers with 7 circular shaped petals. They fall easily and have a faint scent that smells like apple.
