Copper-Colored Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This big tree grows up to 62 meters (203.4 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 76 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in wrinkled, silver and white bark, and inside, the very hard wood is copper-coloured.

The abundance of branches are short stubs and are covered with small bunches of rough, miniature, spear shaped leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are found in white, green and cyan varieties.

In late summer it forms large, green, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with patches of undergrowth between them.

It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
