Climbing Blazevine

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters) and growing as high as 25 feet (7.6 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 5 months for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The very narrow and elongated, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are either caramel or hazel, with brilliant red dots, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces handfuls of large orange flowers.
