Greybluebell

Flower type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its orange stem is very thick, and the large, grey leaves are spear shaped with tattered edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

Lots of large flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 20 cm (7.9 inches) wide, with dark grey petals on the lower layer and blue petals decorated with yellow dots on the inner layer. The central disk is sky blue. The flower head is shaped like a bowl made up of 18 tightly layered, narrow petals. They fall easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like a man, and it has a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects , but only one species in particular.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
