Burgundy Moss

This burgundy moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In moorlands.
It is enormous, growing up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly robust.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
