Goldenflower

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This huge flower grows up to 7.4 feet (2.3 meters) tall. Its brown stem is very thin, and the small, green leaves are circular with tattered edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 69 cm (27.2 inches) wide, with solid gold petals decorated with olive lines and a turquoise central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 15 curved petals. They detach easily.

It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like marzipan, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
