Bluevine

This small flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its vivid blue stem is thick, and the small, bold purple leaves are spiral with ripped edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.

5 to 8 medium-sized flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 19 cm (7.5 inches) wide, with brilliant yellow petals and a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 54 petals. They are hardy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like fresh linen, and it has lots of pollen, but it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to butterflies.
