Silvervine

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized tree grows up to 58 meters (190.3 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 101 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, curved trunk covered in thick, smooth, silver and white bark, and inside, the soft wood is yellow.

The tangled mess of branches trail down across the ground and are covered with very large amounts of smooth, large, asymmetrical leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of yellow that gradient shifts to grey at the top.

In late summer it forms large, light brown aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
