Coral Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 26 feet (7.9 meters) and growing as high as 165 feet (50.3 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 4 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The stiff, pointed, fuzzy leaves reach up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) in length. They are found in pink, gentle red and orange varieties, and have smooth edges.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
