This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 34 feet (10.4 meters) and growing as high as 736 feet (224.3 meters).

During late spring, the creeper produces hundreds of average indigo flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces lots of very large seed pods.
