Moss Green Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)

This short, moss green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are durable and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, green flower.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.

It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
