Golden Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This modest-sized, gold grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in thin clumps that are delicate and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, amber flower.

During the late summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of small grains.

It is slightly resistant to fire damage.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
