Magenta Blossom Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)This large tree grows up to 83 meters (272.3 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 561 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a wide, straight trunk covered in thick, ridged, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the soft wood is pale brown.
The thin clumps of branches are short and thin and are covered with small bunches of smooth, huge, slender, pointed leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are generally magenta.
In early spring, it produces dozens of large, peach blossoms with wide petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like meat.
In late summer it forms giant, brilliant orange, winged seeds that float and land far away.
The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
