Burgundy Spined Cactus

This average-sized cactus grows up to 62 feet (18.9 meters) tall. The wispy stem is burgundy, and is covered in brittle yellow spines.

It is quick growing, taking 11 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are generally cream; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 8 petals in raised layers. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like a damp log.

The cactus's skin is very thick, the azure flesh is rough, and the cyan sap is thin.
