Lilacbell
Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This big shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 162 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.
It has several branched, wonky stems covered in knobbly, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is pale brown-grey.
The branches trail down towards the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of small, very thin, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are found in pale yellow, bronze and lilac varieties, light and waxy.
In late summer it produces hundreds of small, silver blossoms with wide petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a strong scent that smells like honeysuckle.
In early winter tiny long, curved fruits ripen. The hairy beige skin is stretchy and very sour, and the slightly crunchy azure flesh is sweet and very dry. The caramel seeds are large and are scattered throughout the fruit.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
