Caramel Daisy

Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This large flower grows up to 6.2 feet (1.9 meters) tall. Its brown stem is wispy and splits into several branching stems at the top, and the huge, red leaves are grey on the underside and are broad, flat with serrated edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
