Orange Blossom Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This short tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 111 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, wavy trunk covered in delicate, ridged, dark green bark, and inside, the dense wood is dark brown.

The small handful of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with copious amounts of clammy, huge, very narrow and elongated leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are vibrant orange on the edges and hazel at the center.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of small, bronze blossoms with 6 circular shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a delicate scent that smells like a woman.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, yellow, shelled seeds.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
