Turquoise Puff Grass

This small, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are delicate and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, turquoise puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
