Sunset Glow

This modest-sized flower grows up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stems grow in bunches of 5 and are thin with a curved tip, and the large, pink-red leaves are 9 pointed with rounded edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 12 cm (4.7 inches) wide, with solid florescent orange petals and an indigo central disk. The flower head is shaped like a sphere with 7 widely spaced, narrow petals. They are very delicate.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like lemon, and it has an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
