Emerald V-Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In damp forests, In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly light; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores.
