Speckled

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 216 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, slanted trunk covered in wrinkled, black with white speckled bark, and inside, the flexible wood is gray.

The numerous branches trail down across the ground, with dozens of twigs covered with small amounts of giant, moss green needles. The needles themselves are flimsy.

In late summer it produces tiny, florescent yellow berries.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with patches of undergrowth between them.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
